Dr. Kamer is a 1989 KSU graduate. He started practice with a 1-year internship in Las Vegas, Nevada practicing under two surgeons, a radiologist, and several general practitioners. When he returned to Topeka, he was an associate of Burlingame Road Animal Hospital for 3 years. His special interests include complex and routine surgical cases-both orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, including total hip replacements, TPLO for ACL damage of the K9 knee, cardiac pacemakers, and minimally invasive laparoscopic surgical techniques such as bladder stone removal, and gastropexy to prevent bloat in large breed dogs. He welcomes all surgical referrals. |

Jennifer Magee, DVM
Dr. Jennifer Magee returned to Topeka after graduating from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2005 to join Veterinary Medical and Surgical Hospital. She believes that client communication is the key to strengthening the human-animal bond. Some of her special interests include internal medicine and diagnostics, with a focus on Cardiology and Endocrinology. She also has a particular focus on senior and geriatric pets, and is devoted to the early diagnosis and treatment of degenerative diseases in an effort to improve the quality of life for our four legged friends. Dr. Magee has an additional interest in animal behavior and behavior modification. |
